Chronology Below is a Chronology of
the Indiana District. As you can see the Indiana District has deep roots
in riding and having fun. You will also notice this Chronology is not
complete and there are many blanks throughout it and this is where you
come in, HELP ME FILL THE BLANKS. If you have information that
would fill a blank I would sincerely appreciate you providing me with that
information. Also, any corrections would be sincerely appreciated, this
information was provided to me as you see it. I would hope this

Stevens, ‑ State Rider Education Director. Dick Harpe was
Assistant. |

1990 - Indiana
Riding School started. The first class was at Jefferson High
School in Jefferson, IN, in May 1990. Teachers were: Gary
Stevens, Dick Harpe, Keith Russell and Dave Noble. The class was
full and everyone passed. |

GRAND TOURS |
|
This tour was
started by Chapter D in 1983 to raise money for one of their
chapter members who was wheel chair bond. The proceeds were to
be used to buy a side car so she could go and enjoy rides with
the rest of the chapter, the tour went over so well that they
decided to do it every year and the proceeds would go to various
charities. |
