Assistant District Directors Northeast Section

We are Mike and Susan Jennings from Huntington, IN.  We have been members of GWRRA since 1996.  Mike has been riding motorcycles since he was 15 years old.  That’s been 39 years, during those years he has had several motorcycles with all of them being Hondas.  We bought our 1989 Blue/gray GL 1500 in 1994.  We had been riding a 1982 500cc Honda Silver Wing.  It was like going from a VW Bug to a Cadillac.  We have since sold the 1989 for a 2001 illusion red 1800 in 2004 and traded the silver wing for a helix and the helix for a cargo trailer.  Which Susan can fill to the brim.  Susan is looking for a white trike which is her dream.  Mike always says when that happens it won’t ever be home.  How true it is.

Our Home chapter is T-2 where we have been Chapter Directors, Assistant Chapter Directors, Ride Coordinator’s, Fun Directors, and Chapter Couple of the Year for 2003.  We became Indiana District Couple of the Year in 2003.  We became certified Leadership Training Instructors in January 2004 and District Trainers in 2004.  Susan received her Senior Instructor certification at Spring Wing Warm Up in 2007.  Mike accepted the Northeast Section Assistant District Directors position in 2005.  We are staying on as your Northeast Section Assistant District Directors and District Trainers.  We are excited about working with Stan and Becky and our TEAM.   Our Section consist of our Home chapter T-2, Angola U, Warsaw F, Columbia City M-2, Portland T, Fort Wayne C-2 & D-2, and New Haven Chapter G.  We enjoy getting together with our friends and looking forward to seeing and continuing to work with our chapters. 

Susan has opened her own business doing Massage Therapy which is her passion and loves doing massages and helping people feel better.  Mike is driving dump trucks when we aren’t on the bike enjoying the rides.  In our spare time we enjoy our granddaughters. Our kids often comment on how we are never home.

 We have four children and two granddaughters.  Michelle is a Dentist in Southern Indiana with her practice in Oden.  Curt & Stacey have one daughter, Piper, whom was born on May 24, 2008; they have a home in rural Huntington.   Amy and Kyle are the parents of Ella who is 4 ½ and they live in Huntington.   Kari and Craig will be married on October 4.2008 with plans on living in southern Indiana or Olney, Illinois.  Oh and we can’t forget our faithful dog Bo who loves to greet our friends when they visit.
