 Hello
and greeting to all,
We are Terry &
Cherie Malcolm from Garrett IN (hey don't laugh we have 4 stop lites in town
now). Cherie and I met in high school and married after she graduated. We will
have been married 35 years this June (whew I don't know how I did it). I have
rode motorcycles since I was about 10 years old starting with a cushman scooter,
Honda 50, CB90, CL175, CB350, Hawk 400 and then the kids starting coming and
getting involved in activities. We have three children that all live close by,
Terry Jr., Angela and Carrie and have three grand children from our daughter
Carrie and her husband Joe Allen. It's hard to believe our "baby" will be 29
years old this year. Our other "child" at home now is a six pound shepoo (part
shihtzo and poodle) that rides with us on the motorcycle and loves it.
After the kids
were gone we got the motorcycle bug and found a '81 Goldwing with only 18,000
miles. Then we started looking for a group to start riding with and found
Chapter IN-D2 on the internet. We joined the chapter and became members of GWRRA
in July of 2003. It wasn't long before we became ACD's and very involved with
activities of the chapter. Then along came a '93 Goldwing SE and we soon found
out how friends can spend your money at rally's!! We committed to safe riding
and have attained our level 4 status and have ridden over 60,000 miles since
joining GWRRA. We have also had the honor of being selected as Chapter Couple of
the Year and then District Couple of the Year for 2007. We have been
overwhelmed by the friendships and the honor of this position and
appreciate everyone that helped us.
We look forward
to working with our fellow friends in the NW section and the State Staff and
know we will be seeing you soon.
