Kay Tieche
We purchased a GL1500 one month later then upgraded to our 2006 Red in 2007. We have loved every minute of the bike and look for many more years ahead. Kay has been in the medical field for almost 20 years and is currently working as an Office Manager for a private practice with 5 doctors. Lee has worked in electronics for the last 31 years and is currently an Instrumentation Technician at Cummins Engine. We also own a small “mom & pop” engraving business to get us ready for our golden years. Along with all that, Lee has been performing as a professional Magician for the past 13 years but has backed off performing just recently. We became involved with GWRRA as Kay’s brother was a CD in Illinois and urged us to check it out. Did I say he was my favorite brother-in-law! It was the best thing we could have ever done. We feel Chapter W in Columbus is just an extension of our family. Being family is also being there for others as they are there for us. We especially love getting away, last year our Chapter went cruising on a ship and went to Mexico and Belize. One of the best vacations we had ever had. We were honored in 2008 to become Chapter W’s COY. We enjoy meeting all the new couples as they come in and look forward to doing the same thing in the future. We are currently the Activities Coordinators, MEC, MAD and PR coordinators. We are very pumped about our selection to the District staff and will do everything we can to provide you with the best organization in the world. Hope to see you soon. Lee & Kay Lee & Kay Tieche

Kay
and I would like to share with our friends a little about our past and about us.
We have been married for 26 years and have one grown son. I have owned a bike
off and on since the late 70’s but it wasn’t until we moved off the ridge in
Brown County that we wanted to get another touring bike. That materialized in
the form of a 1986 Suzuki Cavalcade in 2004. That lasted a year until Kay got
onto her brother’s new 1800. |
